All we can do is blog about it

In thinking about the Mammoth heap of misery that is our world today, we are often led to put hope in things. This event, this election, this book, this conference etc, will change everything. It's a nice feeling, but you know it won't. And while fear is the opposite of hope, fear only lasts so long untill it gives way to hopelessness. In hopelessness only the things that are worthwhile regardless of outcome make any sense, like dreaming, maybe the Dreamworld is actually a world where you let yourself dream and treasure the Dream?

Bewildering Dreams make you stop and think about who you are, what you want, like rewilding, going wild again, free and feral, as an act of will and of contempt for domesticated "Life". Do you have some folks to go wild with? People are trying, but you won't necessarily read about it on the internet, for obvious reasons, but imagine going wild for, say, three months! Or for the rest of your Life! For most of us, all we can do is blog about it, for now. Share our Dreams, come together, read and write books that capture the Imagination of the future Primitive, like olwë melwasúl's novel die urmutter.

Thanks for the link to "Die Urmutter". I'm thinking about Book 2 now. Ulrike will be dealing with serious rewilding in the shadow of the Peak Oil Crash.

Your Olwe,

Thanks for your honesty. I, too, desire wild nature, but infrequently get myself out there, for one reason or another. Are you German?
